KHALIFA SHEIKH ALHAJI DR. YAHYA AL-AMIN

Sheikh Yahaya Al-Amin a Ghanaian Islamic scholar, teacher, writer and preacher. He is also the founder and leader of the Islamic Foundation for Peace and development (IFPAD), an NGO which focuses on promoting the development of the Islamic community as a whole. He has taught and trained so many Islamic scholars worldwide and is regarded a fountain of knowledge among his compatriots likewise many young and up-coming students of the religion.

Sheikh Yahaya AL Amin had completed all aspects of Islamic knowledge at a very young age.

After which he started teaching and writing Islamic books, His first write up titled ‘Tuufatul Hushaq’ translated to mean the ‘gift of the lover’ was published in 1969.

Sheikh Yahaya Al-Amin in 1979, represented Ghana at world Islamic conference in Iran after delivery a wonderful speech, Ayatulahi Komein, the Head and spiritual Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran honored him with a Title ‘Qudratu laah’ meaning “a person destined by Allah”. Sheikh Yahaya Al-Amin, have been mentioned by the National Chief Imam as his grand ‘khalifa’.
